Inside Chicago’s New Wellness Social: Music, Movement & Rooftop Energy

How High Society & live DJs are redefining Saturday morning workouts

Some of the BEST wellness experiences don’t feel like “wellness” at all.

That’s the idea behind Save Your Soul Saturdays, a once-a-month rooftop experience from HighSociety that blends movement, music, and connection in an innovative way.

Hosted at The ROOF at theWit, each Save Your Soul Saturday event is intentionally designed to feel less like a class and more like the next event you can’t wait for.

With The Music Trust curating the sound, Save Your Soul Saturday harmonizes wellness, new experiences, and atmosphere, with:

The result is a clear example of how intentional programming and music can elevate a lifestyle event—and how Save Your Soul Saturdays has turned a weekend morning routine into a cherished ritual that feels social, immersive, and thoughtfully produced.

Save Your Soul Saturday: A Rotating Wellness Experience

No two Save Your Soul Saturday events are meant to feel identical—and that’s intentional.

While many Saturdays feature Pilates, HighSociety programs each event with different instructors, modalities, and wellness focuses. With that:

  • Some sessions emphasize strength and mobility.

  • Others lean into recovery, nervous-system regulation, or mind-body reset.

  • Select events also include a cold plunge component.

What stays consistent is the format, which always includes:

  • A professionally led wellness experience

  • Live DJ accompaniment

  • A social, welcoming environment that doesn’t take itself too seriously

  • Post-workout brunch

This rotating structure keeps the series fresh, accessible, and appealing to both first-timers and regulars.

The Music Trust Effect: Curating Sound for Movement, Mood & Momentum

Music is the connective tissue of Save Your Soul Saturdays, and that’s exactly where The Music Trust comes in and shines.

Rather than treating music as background filler, we intentionally curate sound for each event, pairing the right DJs and talent to the venue, audience, and purpose of the experience.

That same approach is used across all types of activations our team is behind, from fitness and wellness events to brand launches, social gatherings, and large-scale productions.

For wellness-driven events in particular, that means we deliver:

  • DJs who understand pacing, breath, and physical movement

  • Sound that supports flow without overpowering instruction

  • Energy that builds naturally, keeping participants engaged and present

When music is curated with this level of intention, it becomes an active contributor to the experience, shaping movement, focus, and flow in real time.

It’s proof that the right music doesn’t distract from wellness, it enhances it.

Cold Plunge at Select Events

Some Save Your Soul Saturdays include a cold plunge experience, offered as a complementary recovery element.

When featured, this cold plunge is provided by Harbor & Voyage and guided by Thermalist method instructor Maria Tkacz, who integrates education, breathwork, and practical guidance throughout the experience.

Interested in the cold plunge at a Save Your Soul Saturday? Here’s what to know:

  • Bring a swimsuit if you plan to participate

  • Towels, robes, and slippers are provided by theWit

  • Participation is completely optional—you can fully enjoy the instructor-led fitness experience with or without the plunge

When included, the cold plunge adds a focused recovery element without changing the inclusive, come-as-you-are feel of the event.

After the Workout: Brunch, Mimosas & Staying for the Vibe

This is where Save Your Soul Saturday moves beyond a traditional fitness experience and truly sets itself apart.

After the movement wraps, guests transition seamlessly into brunch, mimosas, music, and conversation.

All of that is set against sweeping rooftop views and a relaxed, yet chic, atmosphere.

It’s less “cooldown” and more hangout.

And it creates the moments where you forget you came for a workout—and the morning comfortably rolls into afternoon fun.

How to Attend

Save Your Soul Saturday runs once per month, and capacity is intentionally limited to preserve the experience.

You can buy tickets and see what’s coming up next on HighSociety’s Events schedule here.

If you’re planning to attend, early sign-ups are encouraged (these events routinely sell out).

Event Partners Behind Exceptional Experiences

Save Your Soul Saturdays are just one example of how The Music Trust supports next-level wellness and lifestyle events—and it’s far from the full picture.

As a preferred event partner, The Music Trust brings:

For event producers and planners, this means fewer mismatches, stronger audience response, and experiences that feel intentional from arrival to last track.

Wellness You’ll Want to Show Up For

Save Your Soul Saturday proves something powerful: the most effective wellness experiences don’t feel like obligations.

They feel like invitations.

By blending movement, music, recovery, and community in an iconic setting, HighSociety—and The Music Trust behind the sound—are redefining what modern wellness can look like. Social. Energizing. Intentional. And yes, fun.

That cohesion doesn’t happen by accident. It’s what The Music Trust specializes in: using music (and more) as a strategic layer that transforms well-designed events into unforgettable ones.

If your next event calls for intentional sound that supports movement, energy, and atmosphere, it’s time to contact The Music Trust.
